How much does suit hire cost in Brisbane?
Weyridges offers 3-day suit hire from $175 and 7-day hire from $225. Package options with a shirt and accessories are also available.
How much notice do I need to hire a suit?
Booking ahead is recommended, particularly during wedding and school-formal periods. However, where the required sizes are available, same-day fitting and collection can often be accommodated.
Can I hire a tuxedo for a school formal?
Yes. The Weyridges black suit and black shawl-lapel tuxedo are suitable for school formals, graduation events, balls and other formal occasions.
Do you offer wedding suit hire for groomsmen?
Yes. Weyridges can coordinate black suit or tuxedo hire for groomsmen and wedding parties. The groom can also choose a custom wedding suit while the groomsmen remain coordinated in hire.
What styles can I hire?
The hire collection focuses on a modern black peak-lapel suit and a classic black shawl-lapel tuxedo. If you want navy, brown, green, linen or another individual design, explore custom made suits.
How long can I keep my hire suit?
Weyridges offers both 3-day and 7-day hire options. The 3-day option works well for school formals and shorter events, while the 7-day option provides greater flexibility for weddings and longer occasions.
Can I get a shirt and accessories?
Yes. Package options are available with a premium bamboo-cotton shirt to keep, and black ties or bow ties can be included depending on the selected package. An accessory hire package with cummerbund, bow tie and pocket square is also available for $50.
Do I need to dry clean the suit before returning it?
No. Standard dry cleaning is included in the hire price. Additional charges may apply for excessive staining or damage.
What happens if I stain or damage the suit?
Additional cleaning charges may apply for stains. Damage, missing items or irreparable garments may incur repair or replacement charges in accordance with the hire terms below.

Suit Hire Terms & Conditions
Important information covering booking, identification, collection, returns, garment care and responsibility while the garments are on hire.
1. Booking & Payment
A non-refundable deposit is required to secure all bookings. Full payment must be completed prior to collection or delivery. All garments remain the property of Weyridges at all times.
2. Identification
A valid government-issued photo ID, such as a driver licence or passport, is required prior to collection or delivery. Weyridges reserves the right to refuse or cancel hire without valid identification.
3. Fittings & Sizing Responsibility
Clients are responsible for attending fittings and confirming sizing. Any fit concerns must be raised prior to the event. Weyridges is not responsible for issues where fittings are missed or incorrect information is provided.
4. Collection & Delivery
Garments must be collected or accepted within the agreed timeframe. Responsibility for all hired items transfers to the client upon collection or confirmed delivery.
5. Returns & Late Fees
All items must be returned by the agreed return date. Late returns may incur daily hire fees and additional charges until all items are returned.
6. Damage, Loss & Replacement
Clients are responsible for hired items during the hire period. Charges apply for damage, excessive staining or missing items. Where items are lost or irreparably damaged, Weyridges reserves the right to charge the full replacement value.
7. Garment Care
Cleaning is included. Garments must not be altered, adjusted or dry cleaned independently. Unauthorised alterations may incur replacement costs.
8. Cancellations & Changes
Deposits are non-refundable. Changes to bookings are subject to availability and may incur additional costs.
9. Limitation of Liability
Weyridges is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential loss, including event-related issues arising from misuse, late returns or failure to attend fittings.
