Designed Around You
Formal does not have to mean predictable.
Your wedding is an opportunity to create something more personal than an everyday suit. Choose subtle details or make a statement with colour, texture, lapel styling and individual finishing.
Wedding Suit Inspiration
Dress for the wedding you are actually having.
The venue and dress code should influence your suit. A black-tie evening wedding calls for a different approach to a relaxed garden ceremony or Sunshine Coast celebration.

Frequently Asked Questions
Wedding Suit FAQs
What to know before organising your groom and wedding party.
How far in advance should I organise my wedding suit?
For weddings, we recommend beginning around three to four months before the date where possible. Custom production is generally around four to five weeks, but starting earlier gives you more time for fabric selection, wedding party coordination and your final fitting.
How long does a Weyridges custom wedding suit take?
Custom production is generally around four to five weeks. For a wedding we recommend allowing additional time before and after production for consultation, fabric selection and any final adjustments.
How much does a custom wedding suit cost?
Weyridges two-piece custom suits currently start from $990, with final pricing depending on fabric, garment choice and selected options. You can see current details on our pricing page .
Can you fit the groom and groomsmen together?
Yes. Dedicated wedding party appointments allow us to work through the overall look and fit multiple members of the group together. Wedding party consultations are available in both Brisbane and on the Sunshine Coast.
Can the groom buy a custom suit while the groomsmen hire?
Yes. This can be a practical way to give the groom a completely personalised suit while keeping the rest of the wedding party coordinated. Weyridges currently offers black peak-lapel suits and black shawl-lapel tuxedos through our suit hire service .
What can I customise on my wedding suit?
Depending on the garment, you can select the fabric, lapel style and width, lining, buttons, pockets, vents, trouser details, monogramming and other finishing options during your consultation.
What should I wear for a black-tie wedding?
A traditional black tuxedo with satin or grosgrain lapels, white formal shirt and black bow tie remains the classic black-tie choice. Your stylist can help refine the proportions and finishing details during your wedding consultation.
Are linen wedding suits suitable for Queensland weddings?
Yes. Linen and lightweight wool or wool-linen blends can work particularly well for outdoor, coastal and warm-weather weddings in Brisbane and on the Sunshine Coast. Fabric weight and construction can be selected around the season and venue.
Where can I get fitted for a Weyridges wedding suit?
Brisbane appointments are available at our New Farm boutique at Shop 2/544 Brunswick Street, New Farm. Sunshine Coast fittings are available by appointment at 1/19 Hancock Way, Baringa.
What happens if my wedding suit needs adjusting?
Your completed garment is assessed at your final try-on. Minor fit adjustments covered by the Weyridges Perfect Fit Guarantee are complimentary, and where major fit corrections are required a remake may be provided in accordance with the guarantee terms.
